The Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a state organization that brings the state youth policy to a new level, finds effective solutions to problems in the field of youth, provides them with comprehensive support, and also effectively organizes and coordinates the activities of the competent authorities. Agency decisions are binding on state bodies, other organizations and their officials, as well as citizens. The agency is a legal entity and has stamps and letterheads with its name and the State Emblem, an independent balance sheet, personal treasury and bank accounts. The agency system includes the central office of the agency, regional branches, the Institute for the Study of Youth Problems and the Training of Perspective Personnel, and Youth Media Holding OJSC. Territorial subdivisions (except for district and city ones) act as legal entities. The Agency for Youth Affairs was established by Presidential Decree No. PD-6017.
